Accommodations

We suggest to book accommodations in Jeju island by yourself via online hotel booking sites.
It is highly recommended to book your room at the venue, Hotel Bareve, which offers a special price and conditions during the busy season in Jeju. The cost per night, per room is KRW 100,000, including breakfast buffet (KRW 25,000, up to two people).If you want to stay at Hotel Bareve, please send an email to "bareve8899@nate.com" by filling out the BAREVE Reservation form (download). How to move from Incheon Airport to Gimpo Airport

For those who need to move from the Incheon Airport to Gimpo Airport, our recommendation is to take the metro called "AREX". Gimpo Airport satation is 7th station from Incheon Airport station. It costs 3,750 Korean Won.

[Caution] You should take the "All-stop Train"!
If you take the "Express Train", the train will not stop at Gimpo. But the lanes are different and you will easily notice the difference. Further information can be found here at "Airport railroad"(http://www.airport.kr/pa/en/d/3/1/2/index.jsp).



From Jeju Airport to the Venue

The most convenient way to get to the Hotel Bareve from Jeju International Airport is to take the "Airport Limousine Bus (No. 600)" in front of GATE #5 of the domestic terminal and get off at "World Cup Stadium". Fare is 5,000 Korean Won. The Venue is about 50 km away distance from the Airport. It will take about an hour. Please check details at the Hotel Bareve website Here!

Coffee and Meals

This workshop is made possible thanks to funding from "National Research Council of Science and Technology, Korea". Thanks to their support we can offer the workshop free of charge, including all coffee, tea and a workshop dinner on October 31. There are several restaurants near the Venue, we will provide the information later. Typical meals costs about 10,000 Korean Won.



Excursion

There will be a short excursion on October 31, afternoon. We are planning to walk in the forest, known as "healing forest" and have a lunch there. See the following blog (sorry, it's Korean!http://blog.naver.com/happyjejudo/221071957974). You need to pay for the lunch box (15,000 Korean Won). After a walk, we will visit to KVN Tamna observatory. Please bring your comfortable walking shoes! More detailed information will be provided in the final announcement.
